The University of Ghana has announced an adjustment to the start date for undergraduate course registration for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, bringing it forward to Monday, December 15, 2025.

In a statement, the Academic Affairs Directorate said the change is intended to give students additional time to plan their academic schedules, secure their courses and prepare adequately for the new semester. The university noted that while the registration start date has been revised, all registration deadlines remain unchanged.

The university also outlined support channels for students who may require assistance during the registration process. Academic-related issues are to be directed to the relevant College Academic Offices, while financial concerns should be addressed to the Students Accounts Office.

In addition, tentative dates have been announced for random bed allocations. Continuing students are scheduled for allocation on December 29, 2025, while Level 100 students are expected to participate on January 12, 2026.

Students have been advised to complete their registration early to ensure eligibility for the bed allocation exercise and to avoid delays at the start of the semester.

The Academic Affairs Directorate thanked students for their cooperation and encouraged them to take advantage of the early registration period to ensure a smooth beginning to the academic year.
