The Ghana Esports Federation has propelled the nation into esports history, as its National Phygital Basketball team left Accra for Abu Dhabi.

Fueled by ambition, the squad heads to the Phygital Games of the Future 2025, competing from December 17 to 24 in a clash of athleticism and tech.

Four elite players and three seasoned officials anchor Ghana’s charge, embodying the Black Star spirit in this hybrid arena.

Phygital basketball fuses raw physicality, sprints, spins, and slams, with digital mastery via VR and interactive platforms, reimagining the game for a connected world.

At the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, over 100 nations and 2,000 spectators will witness the spectacle. Ghana arrives as a rising force, ready to challenge giants and stake Africa’s claim in phygital’s explosive growth.

Intensive training forged this unit, merging hardwood hustle with simulator sessions for seamless synergy. Federation voices ring with optimism, viewing this as a catalyst for youth in esports and beyond.

Ghana stands on the cusp of glory—tune in as these warriors bridge tradition and tomorrow, potentially etching a new chapter in national sports lore.
