Health Minister swears in new HSOPS Board Members

The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has sworn in Mr Fredrick Mensah-Acheampong and Mr Hamidu Adakurugu as Chairman and Member, respectively, of the Health Sector Occupational Pension Scheme (HSOPS) Board.

The brief ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health in Accra. Mr Mensah-Acheampong serves as the Director of Human Resource at the Ministry, while Mr Adakurugu is the Chief Director at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations.

Their appointment marks an important step toward strengthening the governance and management of the scheme, ensuring the continued protection and sustainability of the retirement benefits of health sector workers.

The Minister expressed confidence that their leadership and expertise will contribute significantly to advancing the welfare of health professionals across the country.
