Clinical Epidemiologist calls for intense public education to reduce cases of Lassa fever in Ghana

A Professor of Clinical Epidemiology, Professor Fred Binka, has called for more public education to reduce the cases of Lassa fever.

His comments follows the confirmed cases of Lassa fever in the country. So far it has claimed one life.

Professor Binka, in an interview with GBC NEWS, attributed poor education to the continuous spread of the disease.

Professor Binka, urged individuals who experience symptoms of malaria to report to the nearest hospital for proper diagnosis.
