Mass Vaccination of Yellow fever starts on Thursday

The Ghana Health Service is to start a six-day Preventive Mass Yellow Fever Vaccination from 12th to 18th November 2020.

The Vaccination Campaign is targeted at persons aged between 10 and 60 years in four districts of the Bono Region.

The exercise is part of a nationwide campaign to vaccinate about Five Million people.

Bono Regional Deputy Director of Health Services, Dr. John Ekow Otoo, who disclosed this at the Launch of the Campaign in the Bono Region said, the vaccine is safe, effective and free.
