Public Health Expert at the ‘Tony Blair Institute for Global Change,’ Dr Banda Khalifa, says Monkeypox is not as serious as Covid-19, but, Ghanaian Health Authorities must scale up surveillance mechanisms against the disease.
Monkeypox is a rare disease caused by infection of the monkeypox virus.
Addressing issues on the disease, Dr Khalifa said ”Ghana must focus on prevention following the outbreak in parts of the world, including neighbouring Togo.
