WHO awards Ghana for been the first to eradicate Trachoma disease

The WHO and Partners have awarded Ghana a certificate making her Trachoma free as a public health problem.
Ghana is the First in Sub-Saharan Africa to eradicate the Trachoma Disease.
Addressing a stakeholder gathering in Accra, the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu said upon this achievement there is the need to continue promoting good sanitation in order to eradicate other diseases.
