Organising Secretary of the Alumni of Katanga Hall of the KNUST, Anthony Aveke says the Alumni still oppose the decision by the university to convert the hitherto male hall into a mixed one.

He said they do not see the move as a means to addressing the accommodation challenges on campus.

Mr. Aveke said the challenges could be solved by inviting investors to build more halls and hostel facilities at the university.

PRO of KNUST, Dr. Daniel Bekoe asked the Alumni to remain calm and allow Otumfuo Osei Tutu to decide on what should be done regarding the affected halls.
