Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, is set to present the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament today, July 24, 2025. The presentation will provide an assessment of the economy’s performance during the first half of the year.
This constitutionally mandated update comes amid high expectations from businesses and the general public, who are eager to hear measures aimed at sustaining the macroeconomic stability achieved since the beginning of the year.
In accordance with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921), the Minister is required to report to Parliament on the implementation of the national budget and outline the economic outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year.
