MCE donates 200 Solar light to state institutions

The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Ms Comfort Asante, has donated 200 solar panels to some public Institutions in the municipality to help them to improve the lighting system in their offices.

The beneficiaries include Gyamfikrom CHIP Compound, Asokore Methodist Primary School, Effiduase Police Station, Abrewa Nkwanta Clinic, Akwadum Library and others.

In an interview, Ms Comfort Asante, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) explained that the project is to help improve the lighting system in some institutions in the Municipality.

Ms Asante expressed concern about lighting in some classrooms that had their windows fixed which had made the classrooms dark and also hot.

The MCE also donated 15 school uniforms to Okumasu M/A Primary School for vulnerable pupils in the school.

The Head teacher of the school, Mr Evans Arthur receiving the donation on behalf of pupils of the school and thanked the MCE for addressing the needs of some of the pupils of the school and called for more of such gesture.
