Twelve COVID-19 patients who have been receiving treatment in the Northern region have recovered from the disease and have been discharged.
The twelve include seven Guineans and two Burkinabes who were among the first ten confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Northern Regional Health Director, Dr. John Eleeza disclosed this at a media briefing in Tamale today.
He said the development leaves the region with only four patients now under the care of the Northern Regional Health Directorate.
