NAPO’s body guard is NOT dead – Akwasi Nti refutes rumors

Akwasi Nti, a member of the Campaign Team of the  NPP’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly called NAPO has denied rumours that the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate’s body guard has died.

Former Chairman of the Fomena Constituency, Akwasi Nti speaking to GBC’s Nicholas Osei-Wusu in Kumasi in reaction to the social media speculation, said no death has been reported within the campaign of the Running Mate, and such ”reports should not be taken serious”.

Chairman Akwasi Nti, as he is affectionately called and one of the known closest allies to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, asserted that, the Aid De Camp of the former Energy Minister is a Police Officer and not a Military Officer as being reported.

According to Mr. Nti, Mr. Opoku Prempeh returned to Ghana on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 from a short trip to the United Kingdom.

Currently, Mr.Opoku Prempeh is scheduled to continue with campaigning in the Ashanti region.
Chairman Akwasi Nti assured that the Running Mate is focused on his campaign.

He urged members of the NPP to also continue with the campaign activities until victory is won in December 7.
