A cybersecurity analyst and CEO of Cyber1Defense, David Gyedu has stated that, in as much as there are negative hackers, there are positive hackers as well.
He made this assertion during an interview with Kafui Dey on GTV’s Breakfast Show today, 3rd November, 2023.
According to him, there are ethical hackers whose duty is to protect a company’s system against the unethical hackers.
He further mentioned that these individuals who commit the crime of hacking people’s accounts cannot be described as hackers.
“These are not hacker, these don’t qualify to be hackers, they are thieves”
He therefore clarified that, the actions of these bad hackers should not be the reason to condemn hacking as a negative act.
“Please don’t spoil the hacking business,” he added.
