The National Service Scheme (NSA) has issued a stringent warning against fraudulent activities, explicitly stating that it does not engage in or accept payment for “Special Postings” or requests to post personnel to preferred companies. This firm statement serves as a primary alert to service personnel as the registration deadline on Friday, December 12, 2025, approaches.

The NSA emphasizes that its posting system is automated, transparent, and merit-based. Any individual requesting money for a posting or reposting is committing fraud and should be reported immediately to security agencies.

Extensive Support Launched Ahead of Deadline

The NSA’s clear stance on fraudulent postings is complemented by a comprehensive rollout of support measures designed to resolve documentation and technical issues for all personnel before the registration window closes.

Identity Discrepancy Resolution

To tackle issues of name or date of birth discrepancies encountered during registration, the NSA previously established a dedicated help desk at its Headquarters. This initiative was executed in partnership with the National Identification Authority (NIA) and Ghana Publishing Company. Furthermore, the NSA successfully negotiated a reduction in Gazette service charges to lessen the financial burden on personnel needing to formalize corrections.

In a major modernization effort, the NSA collaborated with the Ghana Publishing Company to launch a new digital e-Gazette platform. This platform aims to provide a swift online resolution for gazette-related issues. Personnel can access the digital platform at:

To ensure no personnel are left behind due to technical or documentation issues, the NSA has established specialized support centers that are fully operational up to the deadline:

• Regional Support Desks: Specialized walk-in support is available at all Regional Offices.

• Accra Headquarters Support: A dedicated IT and support desk has been set up at the NSA Headquarters in Accra.

These desks are operating to help resolve all outstanding registration issues before the crucial deadline of Friday, December 12, 2025.

The NSA urges all service personnel to utilize these official resources and remain vigilant against fraudsters soliciting payment for “special services.”
