President Akufo Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, National Party Executives and other bigwigs of the party were present at the National Council meeting in Accra.
The National Council of the NPP which is the second highest decision-making body of the party after the closed door deliberations, later on ushered in Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh who was waiting outside.
General Secretary, Justine Kodua Frimpong addressed the media after the endorsement.
Mr. Kodua was optimistic that the Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh team will secure victory for the party to break the eight.
The NPP will officially outdoor the running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh in Kumasi on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
