The Electoral Commission (EC), has extended its voters’ register exhibition.
The exercise started on September 10, 2019 and was expected to end on September 17, 2019.
A statement signed by Acting Director of Public Affairs at the EC, Sylvia Annor however, said the exercise will now end on September 20th 2019.
“The Electoral Commission wishes to announce for the information of the general public that it has extended the period for the exhibition of the voters register from Tuesday, 17th September to Friday, 20th September 2019.”
“All registered voters who registered from 2012 to 2019 are expected to check their names and particulars at their designated exhibition centres throughout the country.”
The EC also asked various stakeholders to cooperate with “operatives on the field to make the exercise successful.”
