Ghanaians who returned home after the Kotoka International Airport was re-opened will not be given the opportunity to register and vote in this year’s election.

This is due to time constraints as the EC starts the voter register exhibition next week.

Acting Director of Public Affairs at the EC, Sylvia Annoh told GBC such persons can register in the subsequent continuous registration process to be organised by the EC in the near future.

Ahead of the Voter Exhibition on September 18, concerns have been raised about the low patronage of previous exhibition exercises.

Madam Annoh called on registered voters to ensure they check their names to be satisfied that their names are on the Register.
