George Twum Barima Adu is an Independent Presidential Candidate.
Taking his turn on GBC’s Presidential Encounter on GBC News on November 19, 2024, George Twum Barimah Adu shared his ideas on how he will be transforming Ghana when elected President of the Republic of Ghana.
George stated, “Ghanaians have pursued the wrong model of economic policy. And this is time we come back to what matters, which is the human factor.”
He further explains that the human factor means policies that directly benefit the people, simply human development.
“Everything else is about the human being.”
“So every policy that any government pursues is supposed to ensure that the well-being, the welfare, the happiness, and the economic success of the human is at the center of it. But so far, our journeys across the whole country, we have seen that the human has been completely neglected.”
George Twum emphasized, “A lot of people are lacking basic needs. You see people who, you can see that there is no hope in their eyes because they’ve been left behind by their government for 32 years. And it’s time we change that.”
