The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, commissioned a newly constructed and fully furnished kindergarten (KG) block in Aveyime on Monday, 14th July 2025.
According to him, the Aveyime Methodist KG brings the total number of KG projects spearheaded by the MP in recent years to 20.

The facility includes two 100-capacity classrooms, teachers’ offices, a kitchen, washrooms, a storeroom, poly tanks, and a dedicated playground; all aimed at providing a conducive learning environment for young children.
“Investing in quality education will remain my priority as MP,” he stated.
In addition to the infrastructure, the MP also presented scholarships worth GHS145,000 to deserving tertiary students. The support forms part of a broader educational empowerment programme aimed at easing the financial burden on students and their families.
Mr. Ablakwa also inspected recent rehabilitation works on 28 basic schools that were severely affected by a devastating rainstorm. He confirmed that all the schools have now been fully renovated by a dedicated team of local artisans assembled under his directive.
The MP has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the development of his constituency and the country at large.
