The Judicial Service says it will leave no stone unturned in facilitating the prosecution of persons or group of persons who misconduct themselves or are cited for electoral violence before, during and after the general elections.

According to the Supervising High Court Judge for Northern, North East and Savannah regions, Justice Richard Mac Kogyapwah, the relative peace being enjoyed in the country cannot be taken for granted and advised Ghanaians to go through the electoral process.

Justice Mac Kogyapwah, said this in an interview with GBC in Tamale.

Elections in Ghana are invariably plagued by pockets of localized violence that threaten the peace, security and stability. They usually occur before, during and after elections and are characterized by threats, intimidation,  assault, among others.

With some hours for the country to go the polls, it is believed that some persons or group of persons will engage in acts that may derail the peace of the country.

It is for this reason that the Judiciary is sending a strong caution to such persons not to contemplate such actions.
