The Ministry of Finance has debunked speculation that the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta has resigned.

It said the Minister is at post.

“The Ministry wishes to assure the general public that there is no truth in these rumours. Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta is at post and focused on his mandate, given to him by His Excellency the President, to serve the people of Ghana in his capacity as Finance Minister”, according to a statement from the Ministry.

The statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Finance Ministry on 5th October, 2021 advised the public to ‘’disregard the rumours’’.
