The Minority in Parliament is demanding the cost evaluation and other details of the Agyapa Royalties deal.
It is also demanding a probe by an independent adviser into what it describes as a shady deal.
Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrissu, at the latest edition of the NDC weekly press briefings in Accra, maintained that the deal was signed in haste and therefore a future NDC government will not honour it.
Mr. Iddrisu said the NDC has the strongest view that the deal assigned is not in the best interest of Ghanaians.
The Minority Leader also asked government to come clean on all aspects of the deal while accusing it of gross conflict of interest.
Ranking Member on the Finance Committee of Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson questioned the President for approving the deal.
Meanwhile, the Communications Director of the NPP, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah says government has nothing to hide in the Agyapa Royalties Deal, stressing that it was done in a transparent manner.
Speaking at a media briefing in Accra, Mr. Buabeng Asamoah said the process was started over two years ago under the Minerals Income Investment Fund, 2018 which seeks to maximise benefits from the mineral resources.
