The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Member of Parliament for Afadzato South Constituency in the Volta Region, Angela Oforiwaa Alorwu –Tay, has donated Veronica buckets, soaps, wipes and hand sanitizers worth GHC 20,000.00 to communities and health centres within the Afadzato South District.
The donation is part of the MP’s efforts towards helping her constituents in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
At a short ceremony in Ve-Golokuati, the District Capital of the District, the MP assured her constituents of her commitment and that of the NDC towards the fight against the deadly COVID-19 that has claimed the lives of over One Hundred Thousand people all over the world.
Honourable Angela Oforiwa Alorwu-Tay however appealed to her constituents to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols: Regular washing of hands with soaps, the use of sanitisers and proper hygiene as stipulated by the government and to ensure that there is no community outbreak of the virus in the area.
