Voting is currently underway as over 6000 delegates from the various branches of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) cast their votes to elect National Officers.
The elected officers will run the affairs of the party for the next four years.
One of the top most agenda for the incoming officers is to secure victory for the NPP come 2024 general elections.
Some candidates like the incumbent General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Mr. John Boadu is tipped to maintain his position while Mr. Stephen Ayensu Ntim, a one-time second Vice Chairman of the party is tipped to carry the top position, the National championship.
