An Accra High Court has dismissed an application by National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
The NDC chairman was seeking a stay in other to appeal an earlier decision by the court which refused his application to struck out the charges of assault against him.
The court presided over by Justice Samuel Asiedu, dismissed the application on ground that, the applicant has not advance any special circumstance to warrant the grant of stay.
