The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has disclosed that 768 projects have been completed by his government in the Eastern Region in the past three and half years out of 1,481.
Calling on the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin at Kyebi on the second day of his Eastern Regional tour, the president said, 730 of the projects are at various stages of completion. He added that 560 of the projects are taking place at Kyebi with 345 completed. He said 215 will be completed soon.
President Akufo Addo was grateful to Okyehene and the Akyem State for the honour done him through the organisation of the durbar and urged the people to vote for him in the December elections.
The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea said, a vote for the NDC will send the nation backwards in terms of development. He said, president Akufo Addo has done enough in a very short time to warrant a second term in office.
He added that the government has eased pressure on Ghanaians through the free SHS, free water and subsidised electricity tariffs, amongst other initiatives.
