The New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the weekend launched its manifesto in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast. The manifesto was dubbed “Leadership of Service-protecting our progress and Transforming Ghana.

The manifesto features a breakdown of what the party believes are worthy achievements of its first term in office, based on which it is seeking a second term mandate as well as promises of things it would do if it is granted another term by Ghanaians.

Some of the projects catalogued include building an airport in the central region, free primary healthcare, a 10-billion dollar accelerated infrastructural plan, youth in tree planting programme and building of Senior High Schools in all Zongo Communities in the 16 regions.

But how do the Ghanaian public make of the NPP’s manifesto? A section of Ghanaians have been speaking to Radio Ghana. Whiles some say they are pleased with it, others are of the view that the manifesto failed to capture what is on the Ground.
