Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has started a three-day campaign tour of the Upper East Region ahead of the December polls.
The Upper East Regional Organizer of the NPP, Jerry Asamani Aladago, in a statement said he will tour some parts of the Region until Thursday, November 12.
While in the Region, he will interact with Traditional Rulers, the public as well as NPP faithful.
At the Palace of the Paramount chief of Sirigu Traditional Area, Naaba Akwara Atogumdeya, the Vice President said the region is witnessing the construction of some major roads.
He noted that Government is committed to addressing the flooding problem in the region.
The Vice President will subsequently move on to Builsa South and Navrongo Central.
He is expected to visit Bazua in the Binduri District where he will inspect a Mechanized Infantry Battalion and interact with the Chiefs and people of the area.
He will later proceed to Zaare and Bugri in Garu and Tempani Districts. On the last day, Dr. Bawumia will visit Bongo, Sakoti in Nabdam District, Zuarungu in the Bolga East District and finally round up his tour at Sheriga in the Talensi District.
