President John Mahama is set to embark on a nationwide Thank You Tour with his first stop being the Volta Region, scheduled for this Friday, January 24.
The tour aims to express his gratitude to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support in the 2024 elections.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the President will be welcomed with a grand durbar of chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, members of labor unions, and key representatives from the informal sector.
The event seeks to strengthen the bond between the President and citizens, while celebrating their vital contributions to the nation.
President Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and highlighted his historic achievement of announcing a full cabinet within two weeks of assuming office.
This move demonstrates his dedication to effective governance and addressing pressing national issues.
The President invites all Ghanaians to unite in celebration and pride during this special occasion.
