The spate of armed robbery attacks which led to the death of a police officer in the Western North Region last year seem to be resurfacing.
A 50-year-old businessman in charge of ‘Okyeso Nyame Cold Store,’ Charles Boison, was last night attacked by armed robbers at Sefwi Dwinase in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the region.
The victim is currently on admission at the Wiawso Government Hospital responding to treatment.
According to the District Police Commander, Superintendent Simon Peter Akabati, the victim sustained serious injuries when the robbers in masks attacked him, demanding money.
