St. Johns Integrated SHTS appeals for ‘special teachers’

The St. Johns Integrated Senior High Technical School in the Kassena-Nankana Municipality of the Upper East Region, has appealed to government through the Ghana Education Service, to post more special teachers to the school to teach hearing impaired students.

The leadership of the school, made the appeal at a workshop organised by Special teachers in the school on the US Department of State Funded project “dubbed Expanding Access of Education for the Hearing Impaired”.

The St. Johns Integrated Senior High Technical School is the only school practising inclusive education in the five regions of the North.
