Star Oil Ghana has reduced the price of petrol (RON 91) to GH¢9.97 at 175 filling stations across the country, marking the first time since June 17, 2022 that fuel has sold below GH¢10.
The price drop was announced by Star Oil as part of its effort to make quality fuel more affordable for Ghanaians.
The reduction takes effect today and applies to all Star Oil stations participating in the promotion nationwide.
According to the company, the move is aimed at helping consumers save money while still enjoying high-quality fuel, proving that low prices do not mean poor quality.
Star Oil explained that improved efficiency in operations has made it possible to reduce prices without compromising standards.
The company also noted that critics who once claimed affordable fuel meant poor quality now have no basis for such arguments.
With the new pricing, Star Oil is encouraging motorists to continue saving, reminding customers that “Every drop counts” and that they can enjoy quality fuel they can truly afford.
