All fresh prison inmates of the country’s prisons quarantined in a separate room for 14 days. This follows the confirmation of some positive cases of COVID 19 in the country’s prisons.
10 inmates in Tema have tested positive, with one confirmed case at the Kumasi Central Prison.
Speaking on Behind the News, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Prisons Service, Superintendent Courage Atsem said other measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of prisoners.
