A section of the road from SCC Junction to Old barrier, on the Kasoa road, was flooded after more heavy rain fell on Thursday morning in Accra.

The road was rendered impassable following the rains forcing drivers to convert the highway into a one-way road.
Speaking to gbcghanaonline, some concerned residents and commuters attributed the continuous flooding to poor drainage systems and building on waterways.
They appealed to government and the authorities to find a lasting solution to the problem.
