The National Nkoko Festival, held on 31st December 2025 and 1st January 2026 at Osu Oxford Street, brought together poultry farmers, food vendors, and members of the public in a vibrant celebration of Ghana’s local poultry industry. The festival formed part of a government initiative known as the Nkoko Nkitinkiti Project, aimed at promoting large-scale local poultry production and reducing dependence on imported chicken products.
