From Home Group of Companies, popularly known as Afe Lotto, has been honoured with the esteemed Corporate Award at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
The glamorous ceremony brought together industry players and stakeholders in sports with Ghana’s Vice President, Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang in attendance, representing His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as Special Guest of Honour.
The company was recognized for its tireless support of sports development in the Volta region, which includes generous support for Division One League clubs, sponsorship of Volta Regional Football Leagues, consistent assistance with travel expenses for the regional athletic team to compete in national events, and significant contributions to the renovation works at the Ho Sports Stadium.
From Home Group of Companies is a conglomerate with subsidiary companies which includes Home Transport Services, Home Farms, Home Engineering, Lotteries (Afe Lotto), and Home Stars Football Club.
The company’s commitment to sports development extends beyond football, making a lasting impact in the Volta Region.
It was one of the many sponsors of the 49th SWAG Awards.
KGL and Access Bank were also honoured in the same category.
The SWAG Awards is an annual event that acknowledges excellence in sports and recognizes contributions to Ghana’s sports development.
This year’s theme was “Gold and Glory: A Call for Change in National Orientation and Investment in Sports.”
