FC Barcelona has completed the signing of Martin Braithwaite from Club Deportivo Leganés after paying his buy out clause.
Earlier this week, FC Barcelona obtained permission from the Spanish football authority to make an emergency signing after missing Ousmane Dembele to injury for 6 months.
The player has signed a contract with Barcelona for the rest of the season and four more until 30 June 2024 with the buy out clause set at 300 million euros.
Born on 5 June 1991 in the port city of Esbjerg, Denmark, Martin Braithwaite Christensen is a tireless striker who is coming to FC Barcelona after making a strong impression in his one year at Leganés.
Martin Braithwaite was unveiled at the camp nou on Wednesday evening.
He comes in handy as Barcelona are without both Luis Suarez and Dembele as both have are out on long term injuries.
