The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) is set to host the Golden Jubilee (50th) edition of the prestigious SWAG Awards on November 15, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra.
This year’s SWAG Awards would be a grand celebration of five decades of promoting sports excellence in Ghana. It is expected to feature a star-studded lineup, captivating performances, and memorable moments.
As part of the celebrations, SWAG will organize a series of activities leading up to the main event aimed at promoting positive partnerships, sports development, and excellence in the country.
The 50th edition of the SWAG Awards will honor and recognize best of the best as well as outstanding achievements of sportsmen and women who have distinguished themselves in the year under review.
SWAG is calling on stakeholders and corporate Ghana to partner with them in commemorating this prestigious and longest-running awards ceremony in Ghana.
The November 15 event is anticipated to be a spectacular occasion, bringing together the crème de la crème of Ghana’s sports industry and high-profile personalities to celebrate and honor sports excellence.
For 50 years, the SWAG Awards have been a pillar in celebrating Ghanaian sports heroes and heroines.
