Asante Kotoko’s Africa campaign came to an end on Sunday, 21 February 2021, after exiting the CAF Confederation Cup despite drawing 0-0 at ES Setif in the second leg.

The Porcupine Warriors lost the first leg 2-1 at home on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at the Accra Sports Stadium, making things complicated for them in the second leg away in Algeria.

With a herculean task of overturning the result on the second leg, the Ghanaian side managed to avoid conceding in the game, a result most of the team fans were excited about.

Asante Kotoko was Ghana’s sole representative in Africa at this stage of the competition.

The team is expected back in Ghana on Monday to continue with preparations for next weekend’s Super Clash against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.
