Ghana’s Black Princesses are preparing to tackle Tunisia in the second round of the U20 Women’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The team has been rigorously training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence as they set their sights on advancing further in the competition.

The qualifiers mark a critical step for the squad aiming to secure their spot in the global tournament. The Black Princesses, a prominent force in women’s youth football, have qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup an impressive seven times.

However, despite their consistent presence, the team has yet to move past the group stage in any of their previous appearances. This history adds motivation for the players and coaching staff as they seek to break new ground this qualification cycle.

Their second round qualifying campaign will begin with an away match in Tunis, Tunisia, scheduled for September 20, 2025. Following this, Ghana will host the return leg in Accra on September 28, 2025. These two fixtures are pivotal in determining who will advance to the next phase of the U20 Women’s World Cup tournament.
