The Ghana Football Association, GFA has sacked Black Stars Head Coach, Milovan Rajevac.
The GFA decision follows an emergency meeting between the Ministry and the Association on January 21, 2022.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports at the meeting asked the Ghana Football Association, GFA to review the work of Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac and reconstitute the Black Stars Management Committee.

The meeting was to discuss the Black Stars’ abysmal performance at the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

In a statement signed by Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, the government made it clear that the Ghanaian people have lost confidence in the capacity of the current technical team of the Black Stars to deliver success hence the need for the review.

It also assured the Public of improving the performance and competitiveness of the National team.

Ghana crashed out at the group stage after claiming one point from nine in three games.

Fresh replacements for Milovan;

Still on the termination of Milovan Rajevac’s appointment, GBC’s Sports Correspondent, Benjamin Willie Graham, in an interview  with Baaba Otoo said, already names are popping up as ”possible replacements”.
