Fresh from securing Ghana’s fifth FIFA World Cup appearance, the Black Stars technical staff extended their celebrations with a visit to the Osu Children’s Home in Accra.

The delegation made a heartfelt donation of assorted items to support the welfare of the children, emphasizing their commitment to giving back to the community beyond their footballing success.

The visit was rooted in gratitude and compassion, symbolizing the team’s recognition of the nation’s support during the qualification campaign.

Presenting essentials to the home’s management, the technical staff expressed a desire to share their accomplishments with those less fortunate, reinforcing a message of hope and solidarity.

Speaking during the event, the Black Stars technical team emphasised the importance of social responsibility.

“Following our World Cup qualification, we made this modest contribution as part of our responsibility to help take care of our unfortunate little ones,” they said.

They also noted the presence of promising young football talents at home, expressing hope that these children might one day represent Ghana on the global stage.

The management of Osu Children’s Home warmly welcomed the donation, describing it as both timely and inspiring.

They praised the initiative for not only providing material support but also encouraging the children spiritually, reinforcing the impact of football beyond just sport.
