The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new trophy for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup ahead of the final between Simba SC and RS Berkane on Sunday, May 25, 2025 in Zanzibar.
The redesigned trophy reflects a blend of tradition and modernity, embodying the spirit of aspiration, unity and excellence that defines African club football. Its striking design features a matte gold ball at the top, with a polished gold map of Africa, symbolizing pride and continental identity. Two matte gold arms cradle the ball, emphasizing strength and solidarity across the continent.

Crafted with attention to detail, the trophy’s shiny silver body is accented by a dynamic gold lightning streak, representing energy and fierce competition. The marble base, textured with a hammered finish, signifies tradition and prestige. Engraved on the base are the tournament’s name and the names of past winners, honoring the history of the competition.
Standing 45 centimeters tall and weighing between 8 to 10 kilograms, the trophy is designed to inspire greatness and reflect the relentless ambition of African footballers. Its intricate craftsmanship aims to motivate teams to reach new heights in their pursuit of continental glory.
The launch of the new Confederation Cup trophy follows CAF’s recent unveiling of a new trophy for the Champions League, signifying the federation’s commitment to honoring Africa’s football heritage.
