The two-time defending champion displayed exceptional form on Centre Court, dispatching the home favorite in just 99 minutes while firing 39 winners and serving 13 aces, never allowing Norrie a foothold in the match.
This win extended Alcaraz’s career-best winning streak to 23 matches, the longest tour-level streak by any male player aged 22 or younger since Juan Martin del Potro achieved the same in 2008.
