Black Queens defender Comfort Yeboah has finalised her transfer to Spanish top-flight club DUX Logroño for the 2025/26 season. She joins the club from Ghana Women’s Premier League side Ampem Darkoa Ladies, marking an exciting step in her football career.
Yeboah, who also plays for the Black Princesses U-20 team, was officially announced by DUX Logroño on Thursday, September 25, shortly after her participation in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. Her move highlights the growing presence of Ghanaian talent in European women’s football.
Yeboah becomes the second Ghanaian to sign with DUX Logroño this month, following in the footsteps of Nancy Amoh, who also joined from Ampem Darkoa Ladies earlier in September. The double signing underlines the club’s interest in recruiting promising players from Ghana.
Since her arrival, Yeboah has already begun training with her new club as they prepare for their upcoming Liga F fixture against Alhama FC on Saturday, September 27. She will be a key addition to the squad’s defensive lineup for the remainder of the season.
Yeboah was an integral part of the Black Queens squad that clinched third place and earned the bronze medal at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, featuring in all matches of the tournament. Her experience and versatility will be valuable assets as she adapts to Spanish top-flight football.
