The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have officially approved the 2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup, a charity match between Premier League sides Accra Hearts of Oak and Kpando Heart of Lions. The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In a statement announcing the approval, the GFA expressed confidence in both clubs’ ability to comply fully with all applicable regulations. The association emphasized the importance of adhering to safety, security and organizational protocols to ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully.
The GFA also urged all stakeholders including club officials, players, fans and security personnel to take due note of the approval and strictly follow the established guidelines. This call for cooperation aims to guarantee a well-managed and secure environment for everyone involved.
