The 2025/26 Ghanaian Beach Soccer Premier League is set to kick off on August 23, 2025, with matches staged across four coastal venues: Ada Beach Soccer Arena, Keta Beach Soccer Arena, Laboma Beach Resort at La and Cheetah Beach Soccer Arena at Senya in the Central Region.

This expansion of the league centres highlights the sport’s growing footprint along Ghana’s coastlines, aiming to bring beach soccer closer to diverse communities and fans.

Fourteen clubs have been grouped into two competitive zones, intensifying the battle for the championship title. The defending champions, Havedzi Mighty Warriors FC, who secured a commanding 5–2 victory over Layoca in the 2024/25 final, face stiff competition as rival teams prepare to challenge their dominance.

The league’s structure encourages regional rivalries and showcases emerging talent from across the coastal belt.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has played a pivotal role in the league’s development, providing logistical and financial support to participating clubs. This backing has helped professionalize the sport, with initiatives such as referee and coach refresher courses and plans for televised matches enhancing the league’s profile and governance.

The GFA’s commitment reflects beach soccer’s rising stature within Ghana’s sporting landscape.

Beach soccer’s growth over the past decade has been marked by increased participation, improved organization, and expanded media attention. The league’s coastal venues not only offer ideal playing conditions but also stimulate local economies and tourism, creating a vibrant atmosphere around each matchday.

Clubs from regions such as Volta and Greater Accra continue to be powerhouses, contributing to the league’s competitive balance.
