The Ghana Football Association has unveiled the fixture list for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, with one of the season’s biggest highlights being the early Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko scheduled for Matchday 5.
The fixture promises an intense showdown between Ghana’s most popular and successful clubs at the Accra Sports Stadium, setting the tone early for the title race. Hearts of Oak, managed by Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, will start their campaign at home against newly promoted Hohoe United.

The Phobians will be keen to avoid early stumbles and rekindle their winning ways after a disappointing recent record. Asante Kotoko opens their 2025/26 season away to Berekum Chelsea, a venue where they dropped points last season.
Led by new head coach Karim Zito, Kotoko enters the season on a high after winning the Toyota Cup and President’s Cup, aiming to build on that momentum despite a challenging schedule, including continental competitions.

The league’s kickoff is set for the weekend of September 12, 2025, and will conclude on May 24, 2026, just before the FIFA World Cup. But all eyes will be on Matchday 5, when the Super Clash in Accra promises a thrilling contest between two giants on the same quest to dominate Ghanaian football once more.
