The reigning Africa Hockey Federation Club champions, GRA Ladies Hockey team, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, at the Ministry’s head office in Accra.
The team arrived with their trophy and a collection of individual awards, marking their second consecutive triumph in a prestigious global hockey tournament.
During the visit, the team proudly showcased their hard-earned achievements, including the trophy and individual accolades from their recent victory.
The Minister, who was excited about the team’s success, commended their dedication, skill, and relentless spirit. He praised their ability to bring honour not only to their club but also to Ghana’s sports legacy.
The GRA Ladies Hockey Team’s triumph serves as a testament to their exceptional talent and commitment to the sport. Their second consecutive title win underscores their dominance on the international stage and highlights the growing influence of Ghanaian women in global sports.
