Kpando-based Ghana Premier League side, Heart of Lions, has held a media engagement as part of its pre-season preparations.
The event, dubbed “Media Day Out,” brought together sports journalists, broadcasters, and writers from the Volta Region and beyond.
It provided a platform for the technical team, management, and players to interact with the media, sharing the club’s vision, ambitions, and strategies for the upcoming season.
Head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashir Hayford and select players, including captain Ebenezer Abban, Lawrence Osei, Ishmael Addo, and Chauncy Freeman, granted interviews to the press.
The club’s management reiterated its commitment to maintaining a strong bond with the community.
Management have also affirmed strengthening the squad and enhancing the infrastructure to see the Lions thrive during the upcoming season.

Heart of Lions will begin their 2025/26 Premier League campaign against Dream FC on September 14, 2025, at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
